Anyone Familiar with Motul 20W50?
My mechanic just put 20W50 Motul in my engine. He didn't know which one it was, or have any info about it other than it was dino. I've phoned his supplier and emailed Motul but I haven't heard back from them. I also checked Motul's website but there isn't much there either. They do have a Classic Car one but it's about $23/L so I "know" that isn't what he used.
I saw Motul mentioned in cnavarro's thread on oils but there isn't much data. As you can imagine, I'm particularly interested in ZddP levels. Anyone have any data on this oil?

I've used Motul 300V 20W60, which is fully synthetic, ester-based and has high ZDDP levels.
AFAIK all Motul 20W50 oils (other than 300V too) have higher than usual ZDDP levels.

I have used Motul 300V in my 930 for a couple years, very good product. It is a bit expensive, but I belive it is as good as it gets.

They (Motul) are very secretive about their information. I do have a few UOA on cars that competed in 24 hour races. The results were exceptional.
