whats a set of 16/7-16/9 fuch rims worth

i just bought my 89 targa carrera and it has these wheels in red.im thinking of changing rims and possibly selling these.any ideas on what there worth??theyre in VGC.just rims alone,with center caps??thanks alot...

A while ago, a perfect set of 7&9x16 would sell for $2000.

The market is soft, and tire selection for 16" wheels isn't what it used to be.

My guess is that if you find somebody who wants red wheels, you may get $1500. Less if the buyer needs to strip the red paint off and refinish them.

Just kidding. A good set can be found in the classifieds for around $1500.00 for a set of 4. Look at some ads, compare the condition of your wheels and price accordingly would be my suggestion

I paid $1500 and thought I got a bargin. There are still sufficent choices of great tires for 16's and 15's. You just do not get a pick of every tire made.

7&8's are a little bit better choice.

You probably got a pretty good deal at 1500.00 Some of the other choices out there aren't even real Fuchs.

16 x 9 fuchs are rare, as I've seen used ones go for $750 to $2000 for a pair.

I have seen them sold for up to over $2k a while back. It is a little different now. I just sold mine set for $1200.
