Post mounting a 993 fan on an older motor?

Anyone ever heard of this?
Just thought it'd be pretty cool. I've never heard or seen it done so there must be a catch but I love the way the swept blades on the 993 look.

hmmmmmmm...

Unfortunately Leland I *don't* have too much time on my hands. I have to sneak in the time to post these days. But I do remember seeing the late "pretty" fan on an older car, so I'm sure it can be done. I think someone makes a kit to make it single pulley/1-to-1 alt.-to-fan drive. (Patrick Motorsports?)

Warren, I need to spend money on a fancy fan like I need a hole in my head .
I just thought it'd be pretty cool if you had a couple bucks laying around and you came across a late model fan for sale and you knew it'd fit an older engine.
