911 MSRP in 1987?

Can anyone tell me what the base MSRP was for a 911 coupe in 1987?

Or, point me to a source of info?

Thanks.

1987 911 coupe MSRP

Below is a copy of a window sticker for an '87 coupe. Also, NADA has their on-line price guide.

Interestingly, a "1987 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Door Coupe" is listed:
http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-22-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=22&p=1&f=5014&y=1987&m=1144&d=139&c=13&vi=99082&z=07801&da=-1

And so is a "1987 911 Coupe 2 Door Carrera":
http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-22-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=22&p=1&f=5014&y=1987&m=1144&d=139&c=13&vi=99082&z=07801&da=-1

Interesting that the base prices are so close. $75 more for reinforcements in the chassis, a fancy folding top, and shoddy seals? Seems like they're either under-charging for the targa, or over-charging for the coupe.

To answer Woodyhfd:

It will take me a bit to definitely find the option prices for 1987, but here it was in '84 when the Carrera 3.2 was first introduced:

Total (as tested): $37,075

Base Porsche 911 Carrera: $31,950
16 inch wheels and tires: $1580
front & rear spoilers: $1325
electric sunroof: $940
AM-FM stereo cassette: $500
cruise control: $320
sport seats: $250
black headliner: $70
extended steering wheel hub: $40

(source: C/D magazine, Feb 1984, p. 38)

One can probably scale these for the difference between 1984 & 1987 (i.e. 20 to 25% incr.) and be close, since the sunroof went from $940 to $1147 and cruise control went from $320 to $384, and the base car itself went from $31,950 to $40,425, but this won't be precise as it is influenced by the popularity of the option, specific content, etc.
------------------------------------------------------------

And for Jgordon:
One should remember that pricing is often based on what people will pay, not entirely on manufacturing costs + fixed % profit, and that different models of the same item could have different profit %.
