Looking To Buy RS Clone, Pics

Okay, looking at buying this 911 but not sure. It has 1980 SC running gear in standard form, Bilstein suspension and a few other goodies. Can you get 3ltr's to go well?

Yes. Read this.
My SC has SSI's and 964 cams and even without the high compression pistions, it is very strong.

looks great. not sure why he went with the 'RS' emblem, as it is a widebody. Should have the 'RSR' sticker.

what year is the body?

"Can you get 3ltr's to go well?"

If it still CIS motorvated it will lack the rawness and all-important feel of a MFI or carb'd motor, but will deliver superior mileage, emissions, and cold start/running.

It will have plenty of torque.

How much is the asking price on that car? It looks sweet and I don't even like the red/orange colors usually...

It has wide front fenders and a narrow front bumper, is that normal??? Looks a bit odd, or is it just me?? ( the lighting maybe??)

Otherwise, it looks ok, (Personally, I'm no fan of the Fuchs replicas and funky seats. But thats all easily solvable if it would bother you.)

True, very true, just pointing out what I noticed.
I wonder if those front fenders are a one-off. I don't know any model with this combo fender-bumper.
It shouldn't cost you too much if you would want to go completely correct and spend some money on "correct" looking fenders and a widebody bumper.

dewolf - year 1970 gets you around many of the emissions ADR's in NSW

Without the later more stringent emissions rules to comply with, you can get a 3.0 to go very well !!!!

I'm in S.A so they are pretty tough on LHD cars here. But it would be worth the effort.
