Another paint code question....
 

Would somebody please so kind as to tell me what my original paint was. Code # 436-9-3. I have looked in lots of book, and I still cannot find the color name.

I looked in my copy of the "Porsche 911 Red Book" and didn't see that code listed for 1978. However, under 1977 it's listed as Sienna Metallic, which I think some people mistake for Champagne or Gold Metallic. Does that sound like a match?

Yes, that is the color. I just didn't know the name. My car was one of the first 1000 or so off the line in 77 for the 78 model year. Unfortunatley, the previous owner had the outside re-painted copper metallic like color.
