Windshield wiper controls are buggy.
 

I have a slightly confusing problem with my windshield wipers. The wiper stalk fails to turn on the wipers at any speed. The intermittent stalk works just fine and switching the stalk controls on while the intermittent is on stops the wipers entirely. Does anyone know why this would be? I would think if the stalk switch was worn out it would not be canceling the intermittent switch.
