Creaking steering noisey brakes

Hi all, I have searched many threads but cant find my particular aliment.
My 81-930 has developed a strange creaking, rubbing noise which I can feel on at the strut mounts area whenever I turn the steering. The noise goes away when the car is off the ground. The strange part is the noise turns into a popping clunking noise when the weather is rainy or even very humid.
I have cleaned and greased the strut mounts and strut shield inside and out.
It helped last year but now doesn't seem to have any impact.
Any ideas?
Also I just installed 928S4 front caliper on the stock rotors. Since then the pads squeal and screech at slow drives. On the highway no noise. I have trimmed and cut the pads, and sanded the rotors to no avail. The original pad were Pagid but now I put on PBRs. Could that be the problem?
Any ideas?

you probably need new ball joints for the groaning noise.
