OEM gas burner finish
What was the original finish on the 5.5x15 Mahle gas burner wheels, painted siver, anodized, and does anyone have similar or approporiate alternatives?

Anodize a magnesium wheel simpy does'nt work.
They are painted.The most tricky part is to find a primer suitable for magnesium. Glasurit brand was used from factory... |

I think primers intended for aluminum are what you use on Mg. The primers for Al that I have seen are all green. So is the original primer Mahle used on the gasburners. Then they are painted silver.
