911 Fuel Pump Question for Application with MegaSquirt II

Can anyone help me with the following?

My 3.0 1979 fuel pump is gone. I am planning to install the mega squirt II system with the fuel rails and the whole ball of wax.

My question is I can get a fuel pump for $ 109.00 from DIY. The mega squirt system requires an adjustable fuel psi regulator ie from Summit that allows adjustment for the 35-40 psi range needed for this upgrade. Now DIY sells an american made fuel pump on their site model No. GSC392 rated at up to 255 liters/hour. It has M10x1.0 inlets and outlets with 6/32 brass studs for wires. They offer fittings to allow M10x10 threaded to -6AN flare fittings. They also have attachment hardware.

Does anyone know what the flow rate in either gallons per hour or liters per hour the stock Bosch 911 fuel pump is? It appears on the chart provided from DIY that this pump runs a large range which includes the Bosch operating range. So I am assuming that this unit will work as a fuel pump replacement to the stock pumper.

And for a 109 bucks it's better than spending 300 + for a gold plated stock unit.

Oh, I know about Bitz Racing site and the Yahoo group but have not received any responses to this question. So I'm a asking elsewhere...

Any thoughts or input is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Antares,

The typical Bosch FP for SC's delivers approx. 120 liters/hour. And the new pump (GSC392) has twice the capacity. HTH.

Thanks Tony.

Would you know if with the fittings and all this pump would work? I don't know if it has a shut off relay like the 911 pump or not. I will have to check that out.

Best regards,

oh and by the way, with the summit regulator that is able to adjust incoming fuel to the 35-40 range I believe I should be ok.
