Anyone use www.ontrackinsurance.com for DEs?
Just went onto their website and it was real easy - got a quote in minutes. I was wondering if anyone has used these guys before I fork over $150 for one DE weekend ($25k agreed value). Seems almost too easy...

I know a number of guys that have purchased insurance but no one who has had to make a claim. Buying is the easy part, knowing that they will be there for you is the question. From what I understand, they are a good outfit, I just have no direct personal experience.

My track car is a 944. No insurance necessary.

I just signed up with HPDE Ins. PCA - HPDE Insurance Program for an event next week. Trust me the $290 I'm paying is a lot cheaper than if something happens, going through that now. Learned my lesson don't play in the rain.
The other option is like Dantilla, have a car that you can accept having something happen. Last edited by pmason; 09-28-2009 at 08:16 AM.. |

Yeah I can't use the PCA one because its a NASA event. I am just surprised how easy it is (and inexpensive). I guess you will never know until someone (or yourself) eats it and makes a claim. But I am sure its much better than nothing (and lying to your real insurance company).
