correct bulb type for early turn signal

Hi All,

Just received some reproduction early (pre-'73) turn signal housings. These have sockets for two bulbs. A dual filament bulb up front, and a single filament miniature bayonet bulb on the side.

Could someone please tell me the correct bulbs i need?

Thanks,
Adam

I assume you're talking about the front, not the rear?

For front, you need:

(1) 2cp = type 1895 (or 3893)
(1) 21/5W 32cp = type 1034 (or 7528) - this is the dual-filament bulb.

The 3893 and 7528 bulbs can be bought from our host.

For the rear, you need the same two bulbs as the front, PLUS:

(2) 21W 32cp = type 1073 (or 7506)

The 7506 can be bought from our host.

thanks for the replies... you were right that I was after the fronts.

Just getting everything ready for my backdate, as are you I see...

One question, i currently only have one bulb per side in my front turn signals. If I add an extra bulb, will this change the total resistance of the circuit, making the lights blink at a different rate?
