San Francisco shops: Aldo's Garage vs Vanguard Motors

Hi,

Any of you Bay Area owners had experience with either of these shops?

I've actually had the car in once at each shop. Both seemed good with an eye toward doing quality work.

Just wanted to see if anyone out there has used either of these guys before and what your experiences were.

I don't have any experience with these shops, but when I purchased my car, I had a PPI done by The Stable off Market Street in S.F. Charles there seems really good, and friendly.

Yeah, they've got a great reputation and I wanted to take my car there when I first got it, too. Unfortunately, they don't work on the early 911s. That kind of surprised me, but they're the ones who actually recommended I take my '71 to Vanguard Motors.
