M&K muffler for 964?

Hi Ben, a few months back you posted about perhaps expanding your line of mufflers to include the 964. It was in the planning stages. It would be nice to replace the heavy OEM primary and secondary mufflers with one of your quality units. Few of my friends and I are wondering if one is in the works or how soon you bring one to market?

Thanks,

Dan

Ben, thanks for the reply. I for one would be committed to a purchase. I find it hard to believe that we can't get 5 people to commit. Judging by the lack of input from fellow Pelicans I guess there's no interest. I wish I lived close to you. I could give you my car for R&D.

Ben, I would be interested. I have the Cup bypass. The remaining OEM muffler is too quiet for my taste.

What are we looking at? I would like some more information on the muffler, cost, DBL, single or dual?

Thanks

crg53, I can only speak for myself but looking for one muffler with one outlet exhaust to replace the HEAVY primary and secondary OEM mufflers. This would be for simplicity of the project since Ben doesn't have a actual car to do R&D on. I believe it would get really involved for him to build a system with dual outlets. As far as price point? Well, I'll wait for Ben to chime in.

You might want to check over on the Rennlist board...I think the 964 and 993 guys hang out there more than here. If a 964 guy ever sees the quality and hears the sound of one one Ben's mufflers they will be sold. I know I love mine...and will always sing nothing but praise for Ben and his product and customer service.

Don, thanks for the advise. The only problem I see over at Rennlist is that there might be a real conflict of interest with sight sponsers like Fabspeed and I believe B&B or any other exhaust sponser. I'm hoping Rennlisters will see this. I think also like you that Ben puts out a quality piece with a unique exhaust note that many 964 owners would want.

I understand that....you might want to invite some of the guys over there to see your post here....My brother was a member over there because the 993 board and 964 bored were more active than the one here....lots of those guys don't visit the 911 site here for some reason....I think they forget those cars are still considerd 911's by many....just a thought to try to get your needed responses.
