On my car, conventional flexible fuel lines were used. A PMO fuel regulator is mounted on the firewall. Flexible lines go to each carb which are outfitted with PMO fuel bars.

Running textile braided rubber fuel hoses for 20 years now. Pump is still the original CIS pump in conjunction with the PMO pressure regulator, which dumps excess fuel back into the CIS return fuel line. For extra safety you can use lines/hoses with AN fittings which are also available for the PMO fuel regulator and the carb inlets. Of course you can use stainless steel braided hoses (also available in black).

What is the finned looking cover on the oil filter?

Oil filter cooling collar - also called "poor man's oil cooler". Was quite popular especially among 911T-owners without external oil cooler. Many different opinions out there if they actually do reduce oil temperature, but for sure they look nice and allow to unscrew you filter without tools.

Haven't seen them for sale lately, but my understanding was that similar collars used for American V8 engines might fit.

Mount a rotary pump in the engine area, on the left, attached to the normal line from the tank. Plug the return line. The 912FPMP pump puts out 3.5# max, so no need for a pressure regulator or gauge setup. Remember, early 911s mounted the pump back there. They suck just fine. CIS front pump removed and bypassed, of course.

Clever. Not a lot of surface area, but clever. Thanks for the explanation.
