powder coating

Thought I would post here due to it gets more traffic. I am looking for a place to have a Varioram manifold powder coated. I go back and forth between polished and powder coated, and am leaning towards powder coating. I have never seen either done on a varioram, but think it could be pretty sharp looking.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers,
Emerald

If it was me, I would ceramic coat it as you might as well get some some heat protection benefits.

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought they just put ceramic on exhausts, but if it helps decrease the heat, that would be great. I guess they have a selection of colors?

Cheers,
Emerald

Yes they do have different colors, but the ones that help retain heat or dissipate it are stock colors like black, grey. These types are generally used on exhausts, intercoolers, heat exchangers, intakes manifolds that are close to exhausts, etc. Jethot will ceramic coat almost anything and has a whole bunch of colors, but their coatings are not the best when it comes to helping with heat. Swaintech is the best, but they do not offer colors. If all you want to do is make it look good, then Jethot will work great with some heat benefits.

Thanks for the information tobluforu. I was initially just wanting to dress up the engine, but having a little heat dissipation would be an added benefit. I am leaning towards color, and maybe do the fan to match

Cheers,
Emerald
