Can broken Tachometers be repaired??
Hello
My car's tach was dead when I bought it, so I bought a used one and swapped it in. It worked for awhile, but then the voltage regulator went. Replaced the VR and shortly thereafter the tach started working erratically then finally not at all. Guessing the VR failing was the cause of its demise. So now I have 2 non functioning tachs. Can they be fixed or are they junk once they are fried? Dan

IF the problem is the actual tach units, I'm sure a place like North Hollywood Speedo can repair them for you.

I sent my tachometer and speedometer to North Hollywood a few years ago and they did a great job! No problems since...
