Engine oil cooler leak?

My ‘82 SC has developed a rude habit of wafting smoke at stop lights or at other times when warmed up. Passenger side heat exchangers are constantly damp with oil. I took pictures today:

What do you think?

Thanks,

Will

Look at triangle on top of motor, thermostat, breather, oil sender. Fan will blow oil down thru cooler. Cooler seals are not too hard to replace after you take sheet metal off the right side and the smallish fiberglass duct off the top of the cooler. There is a service bulletin on JB welding a thin spot on the case behind cooler.

Had a leak like that. Only was significant at higher rpms.

Checked the triangle of death. No leaks.

Removed cooler, seals were in perfect, pliable shape.

Turned out to be an internal leak in the cooler. Opted for a new Cooler. Be seated when you see the price.

Yeah- that cooler is $1200-$1300. I’ll come back with outcome once it’s properly diagnosed. Thanks for the comments.
