There was a thread here the other day discussing the definition of OEM parts and why the cost discrepancies. There was some moaning about the parts available through our hosts competitors at lower costs. I'm out of work but still rely on my Carrera as my daily drive and when the fuel pump recently failed had an 'oh crap' moment when I saw the cost of the OEM part. The other guys had an after-market part for substantially less so I asked Pelican if they could get me this after market solution. Today I spoke with Glenn Sager who has special ordered the part for me. That's a level of service that brings me back to Pelican. That and the tremendous community in this forum . Glenn, I hope Wayne doesn't get po'd at what you've done but huge thanks from this customer.

Glenn Sager is awesome...he lives near me and we've bought and sold parts to each other quite a bit. He used to work at Precision Motion, a Porsche-only shop in Riverside, and he really knows his stuff. I was very happy that Wayne hired him a few years back for parts sales. Glad to hear others appreciate him as well.
