Torsion Bars - which one is left/right?
Bought these from a fellow pelican almost a year ago. Finally getting around to putting them on my car. Went to clean them up, repaint where some of the original paint was scratched and thought I would be looking at a clear - LEFT or L and R for left and right - am I missing something? These are Sanders Hollows.

did the seller ever install them?
if new (never used in a car) just mark them now and put either one in either position. if unknown, then things may be less than perfect - but you at least have a 50-50 chance of keeping the original orientation |

Lightly used apparently. So not as critical? It's a spring, right? should spring both ways.

Have you contacted Sanders?
I suspect left v right has more to do with the relationship of the inner and outter spline counts. As you have adjustable spring plates I would not think it would be a big deal how installed. However, not sure. Just a vote. |
