Looking for early OE windscreen
I recently put my newly acquired '75 turbo in to the body shop to have a few things tidied up. One of those was a replacement windscreen.
I ordered one from porsche - 91154101126 which I was told was the correct one. When it arrived it was obviously for an 80s car. Has the aerial in it with the clip in the middle for the newer type rear view mirror. Porsche are saying that this is the correct replacement screen for that car and that it has superceded the old style screens which are NLA. So Im now trying to track down a correct screen for the turbo which is no aerial and no mirror clip without the tinted band across the top. If anyone knows the whereabouts of such a screen I would be grateful. Dont want to go aftermarket as I want the car to remain factory correct. Many thanks.

Just went through this same thing with my 79 930; was promised by three different sources (Porsche dealers) that they could deliver a non-antenna OE windshield. Well each one showed up with the integrated antenna...
I was finally able to source a Sigla non antenna windshield from ********. Make certain you order the rear view mirror clip also, as the windshield does not come with. |

of course I checked with our host first..."no gots".
Now I see that my above post has an auto edit feature to delete the name of a competitor that begins with 'S' and ends with a 'D'. PM if u cant figure it out. |

Thanks for the replies. I am chasing those up.
The early cars had the glue on mirror like the 934 above. The mirror clip stuck on the screen came in later, not sure when, maybe post SC?
