Lightbulb contienental orange vs gt3 rs orange 8c6

IM doing a CTR 911 conversion from a 74 carrera. New parts include 16x7,8 polished fuchs, 935 mirrors, 1 piece RS american tail, Yellow bird bumpers from bw motorsports, deleted rear deflector. My car was in a fender bender so a change is in order. Cant decide on the 2008 GT3 rs orange 8c6, ( I have a touch up bottle to scan) or 107 continental orange. Looking at pictures on line the continental orange looks darker. What would you do?
The bumpers pictured are from AIR, i ordered new ones from BW motorsports with the air ducts, quailty was not to my standards, so i cut up the ft bumper and made the perfect rear reflector center panel<$$$.

I really like the Continental Orange it pops and is unusual '08 GT3's are a dime a dozen......sorry I do that. I do like Continental better for what it's worth.

That car is gonna be awesome regardless of the color, keep posting pictures please!!

Continental Orange (but I'm prejudiced). The best way to do a comparison is by having both colors (on respective cars) side by side. Oranges and reds seem to vary mucho depending on sunlight or shade (and different ink jet printers).

Hey Mike...where can I get a similar Jagermeister window sticker (do I have to actually drink the stuff)?

911longhorn -- I too am a TxEx. My continental orange doesn't come close to Texas Burnt Orange (though color choice was in the back of my mind when I chose the paint color). Have you noticed how, over the years, Tx Orange seems to have gotten more into the brown shades. When Daryl ran the football team contintenal orange was a much closer match.

Have you been back to Austin lately?

Hookem Horns Jeremy!!! I actually like the darker shades. I would LOVE to paint my car burnt orange with a white bevo on the sunroof panel. Don't care what anybody else thinks, I think it would be awesome!

Paintshop it on yours and see if you like it.

We actually went back to Austin for a vacation this summer with my best friend who also is a TxEx. Did all the fun things we used to do. Also went to the trophy room to pay homage. Ran into AJ Abrams on the street. WHAT a great guy! He was super nice to my kids who are 7 and 5 but know who he is and had followed him all last year. I was very impressed with him. Nice young man, I can't tell you how nice and polite he was. Barnes is doing a good job.

Here's one of my favorite pictures of my car that my son took.

LOL. Nope, don't have to drink it. I bought the decals off of ebay (just search on "jagermeister"). Go figure. There's a guy on there that sells them all the time. I have the orange one on the windshield and a large black one across the tail in the rear. I'm still looking for the "period correct" white ones, though. If anyone knows where to get those I'd be interested...

Here's a pic of the one in the back...

I have seen a CTR in Viper Green and believe me it was the mutt's nuts (that is good btw). I have Continental Orange but would go GT3 Orange for that; I think it will suit the shape with the enlarged surface areas better with some nice vent detail in black - it is a more dynamic colour in my eyes. Some lovely cars in this thread and here is mine:

One of my mates pointed out that this comes from a 'photoshopped CTR' thread which has lots of colours. Not searched for it myself yet so can't post a link.

I am in big trouble having seen this pic. I would seriously think about doing this to mine but need *slightly* more than 200bhp to do it right. The spreadsheet has started - we can dream for a while at least

This may not help the issue since my car isn't continental. But my orange is lighter than continental and the GT-3 is much lighter than my car. Oddly enough, every time i saw this car around the track, i thought it looked darker than mine.

Signal Orange maybe?

Or is the GT3 RS Signal Orange as well? Anyone?
