What kind of yellow is my 911E Targa from 1973 ????
Hey there !!
The previous owner in Holland told me that it was painted in signal yellow (color code 114), but I a getting uncertain, as it looks more like Bluten Gelb (color code 139). What do you think ? How can I be certain ? I am looking for touch-up paint in the right color code HELP !! PS. I cannot track the guy that did the beautiful paint job ![]() ![]()

I originally thought signal yellow too, but agree it has a bit more orange in it than the picture in the post. Of course, cameras and monitors might explain the variation.
Here's a link for early 911 colors: http://elferhelfer.com/farben.htm Check out zitrongelb, a 66/67 color. Looks a bit closer to me.

I agree, signal has more orange to it.
Zitrongelb, speed or fly would be my guesses too.
