Anyone know what time it is?

No real reason to have done this, but it makes for an interesting conversation piece on my desk.

The glass face I had broke - don't ask.
If anyone has a spare glass tach face, I'd gladly pay for postage.

I bought the standard battery-operated clock from a crafts store.
Painted the hands flourescent orange to semi-match the original instrument's needle.
Resprayed all the black trim - just because.
Took out the tach guts
Enlarged the hole in the back to provide easy access for battery replacement and time-setting.

Still figuring out how to create some sort of base - open to ideas from the collective.

Sweet mod!

Just drill a hole in the desk! Or in a block of wood or plastic and give it a nice shape, maybe cover it in leather.
