fiberglass hood flex
as discussed here http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showt...lass+hood+flex i am getting hood flex at speed and was wondering if anyone had come up with an idea to prevent this? the hood i have has a second layer of bracing around the edges that i was thinking of wedging some aluminum stock in a bit too long to create a bowed back bone if you will. my concern is there that the over sized stock will blow through the hood seam over time. another thing i was thinking is a brace from the strut bar that the hood would close to and be supported from below.
has anyone undertook this & have any ideas or workmanship they might share? t
