Unhappy Anyone going to tape the entire 24 hrs of LeMans?

I'm leaving for the wilds of West Texas for a week this Saturday, and will miss LeMans-if anyone tapes the entire race, I'll be happy to pay them if they'll mail me a copy.

While I'm begging, if any ST-Voyager fans out there recorded the last episode, the same offer applies....Thanks!

When I was a kid I missed the last Gilligan's Island, and the last Battlestar Galactica...So how did the Voyager make it back home? I missed that one too.

I can just imagine it...

You're at the end of your second 4hr tape and whilst you're in the process of ejecting the used tape and inserting the new one, (taking time to rewind the used one, of course ) you happen to miss the most spectacular accident, where two BMWs collect and Audi R8R and slam into the overpass at 220 mph.

Nobody is hurt, drivers walk away from the accident, thanking their sponsors and promising to do better next year.

Martin Brundle (perennial bridesmaid) finishes a close third... etc etc...

Two decks, good intentions, swiss cheese memory.

IF I remember to get tapes so I don't have to sacrifice old F1s, we be jammin'

4hr tapes ? I haven't had a deck that had anything other than EP and SP for years. As far as end-of-plant broadcast quality goes, I expected to go for 180s running EP.

Good 'nuff ?

I watched quite a bit of last years race.
The l-o-n-g nightime hours can make for fairly boring TV. The Sarthe is a pretty dark place once you get away from the pits and the amusement area. The Speedvision guys do try to find some angles to make it as interesting as possible.
