82 SC rear glass weaterstrip seal question
I purchased a rear weatherstrip seal from Pelican (non Genuine) but OEM.I removed the glass and found that the new weatherstrip seal does not have holes for the rear defroster wires (4).
Are we supposed to make the holes or should the seal have them, which could mean i have the wrong seal. There was only one part number available for my car so i assumed that i could not go wrong. If we are required to drill the holes what is the best way. Any hints or suggestions for this and also for the reinstall would be very helpful. Last edited by jerhic; 09-20-2009 at 06:10 PM.. |

The rear window seals do not come with holes for the defroster wiring, you have to make them yourself. I've never made the holes, but others have and will respond soon, I'm sure. If you haven't already done so, try a search on the rear seal as there are some threads that have photos of the hole locations.
