Lower stock seats
Was wondering if anyone knows how to lower the front stock seats in a '77 911 short of swapping them out for a pair of sport seats. My head hits the head liner......

short of cutting the original brackets out of the chassis, reinforcing the floor to support the seats, you don't have much of an option with the stock set up. They are fairly thin in the tush area, so you may want to consider a tuner seat from sparco if the car is all street

If you get stuck contact Nick Moss at :-
http://www.early911.co.uk/ He`s just supplied me sliders for my drivers seat that bolt onto the existing chassis mounts and drop the seats by 1 1/2". They don`t tilt forward but they give excellent head room. Although, mine is a `68 car..... maybe they could be made to work for a 77 ?? Regards, Mike.
