where would I find
 

the two bolts / plastic caps that fit in engine lid at top of grille......the two holes in lid are for mounting a wiper I believe and I removed mine and have the two holes - should there be a chrome bolt or a plastic plug in the two holes and where would I look

hope this makes sense......for a 70 car

well I found a temporary fix - I removed the rear wiper and replaced two holes with cycle brake domed nuts , the ones for brake calipers - fitted with small rubber grommet (all from cycle store) and it looks fine - the nuts could easily be sprayed satin black

mine look nearly identical to the one that is part of rear wiper assembly
