Unhappy 997 Turbo cooling water leak !

Hello,

i own a 997 turbo, yesterday i smelled a weird smell, and when i looked beneath the car i noticed that there is a white spots (dry like a salt).

i think its water cooling leak !

i need advice regarding that.. how do i fix it and what usually is the problem ?

appreciate your advice

I could be anything. The cooling system of the 997 turbo is very complex.
It may also be some normal overflow from the coolant cap. (fingers crossed)

You need to take your very expensive car to a Porsche mechanic.

huh

That smell is normal, also any oil leaks are just fine (all air cooled's leak)

I would bet money the water leak is washer fluid, that has got to be it. Its the only water we have......

ohhh and if its running like crap it's an air leak somewhere in the CIS injection..

I dont think its a usual problem with these motors.... there very reliable and durable. If its still on warranty bring it in to the dealer and have them check it. If you suspect its leaking coolant, keep a eye on the coolant levels and all other fluids.
