Wiring Connector Removal Tool - side view mirror

Guys and Gals, This morning I decided to remove my side view mirrors so I could change the seals and I cannot remove the wiring from the female connectors. I tried sticking an ice pick and that didn't work. Per my bentlley repair manual, it requires a special Baum tool. What do you guys use to remove the connectors? Thanks, Ruben | ||

Made my own out of brass tubing. It's actually a pretty common electronic tool, not a special Baum tool. I believe they're commonly used for Molex connectors, which may be what's on those side mirrors. You could probably find one at any serious electronics shop (i.e. not a Best Buy...).
