rear window defrost does not seem to operate.
the knob has two pull-out positions. the knob does not light up ever. not on or off, or lights on or off. and no rear window defrost. the fuse seems to be good . any ideas? can I check to see if the relay that I have is OK? ![]()

The knob gets power from the main loom and should light up when the lights are put on. If not then start by checking at the knob. Once you have confirmed that you have power to the knob then check for power to the two parts of the relay. If you have power at that point then the next step is to check the relays. The box has two relays in it and can be opened easily.
I did this about 3-4 years ago but it is quite simple....let us know how you go...? Mark..... |
