Gear oil
I am aware that some folks are using Mobil Delvac 1 Synthetic 75w90 SHC Gear Lube what is your feedback on it?
Is anybody using Redline synthetic gear lube or anything else? Oh, this is for a G50 Thanks!

I have used the flaps Mobil 1 gear lube and put in the Mobil Delvac 1 a few months ago with great results. This is what Porsche uses for factory fill on their race prepped cars. I have replaced the fluid every two years for the last 6 years. Overkill probably...
Just make sure the you can get the fill plug out before the drain plug ![]()

I replaced my lube with Redline for LSDs. I found it was harder to shift from first to second when the trans was "cold". After a minute or two it is better. This could be the Redline or maybe the PO was using a combo of LSD and non-LSD to get easier shifting. Bottom line is that now that it's time to change it out, I'm going to try something else.
p.s. Do a search and you will find a wealth of info on this topic. Just be sure you are using 75/90 synthetic for your G50 trans.

I'm using Quaker State 75W140 full synthetic gear oil in my 89 G50 Coupe and i like the
results as compared to 75W90 oil...Once the oil warms up it shifts way smoother !!!
