Shroud usage differences
Will a green 2.7 engine shroud fit a 2.2 case that's been bore bigger to 2.7 with CIS? What is the difference if any? Does it have to do with running the CIS or Zeniths or Webers? Are they Interchangable. Appreciate the info.

The biggest difference is the notch for the mechanical injectors and the air channel for the oil cooler. Alll the holes line up in the same place.

2.2 vs 2.7...interchangable
So what you are saying is..... "the way" it looks delivering the air flow to oil cooler is different but gets the air there just the same. I know the difference between the 2.2 long tunnel on the shroud and the smaller piece that fits a the end of tunnel at cooler on 2.7 on up to the SC. AND....I do know that 2.2 had a black main shroud and off-white colored tunnel to the cooler. I just tore a 911T down completely this year and I have physically seen the dif. So in essence the 2.7 shroud should fit a 2.2 engine block modified to 2.7 specs as far as barrels and running CIS injection....there's no MFI involved with what I'm trying to find out? FYI, I do understand the year colors.... Black 2.2, yellows are 2.4, greens 2.7, reds 3.0

Thanks for the chart Gogar! That's great. Do you have other charts for things like that....say for cam tower difs, case difs, crank difs? Sure comes in handy when selling parts with correct info for people.
