Doors off a 78 SC fit a 70T?

Just curious since my buddy may need them. Also, does someone sell new door skins or patch panels?

Thanks

yes, and they're galvanized. the screws for the latch are larger, so you need the 78 latch.

Thanks John. I believe a friend still has the doors off my old SC. I would assume the mounts for the crank regulators and window frame are the same also? He would need to use the window frame from the 70T (I took the driver's side for my current race car) and I would think he would want to use the lighter parts from the 70 rather than the electric regulator's from the 78... but ya never know.

pretty much a bolt on. minor difference between the early and late inner release rods and how they attach to the latch.

Heavier too with the crash beams imbedded in the door frame.

Someone recently posted that the later doors do not have the fixed nuts in the door for the pockets--if that's a concern for the owner of the 70T.
