That's cool, considering Porsche keeps a tight leash on Audi. I was surprised when the R8 came out, considering Porsche owns about 51% of VW (thereby owning 51% of Audi as well). However, I think Porsche had something to do with the pricing of the R8, to ensure it wasn't a threat to the 911. I love Porsche, but I wish they would keep their hands off VW and Audi .

No, Porsche is now part of the VW group. In other words...VW owns Porsche now.
