Is there a signal to show/send to porsche driver... While not driving the pcar?
 

Well this is my problem..I always flash any porsche .. I notice that the newer ones dont even bother, maybe just cuz they havent been in the family or dont know it yet.. Afterall they did pass a 993to get a 996.. So something must be wrong. Anyway what i was getting at was it never fails that when im driving the gf'struck or a friends car i always see the nicest porsche's. Im always giving a thumbs up but they just give me the look of yeh yeh kid i know its a great car.. Is there likea hnd signal or something we can start to give alil wave or somethingto show them that hey the car is getting fixed or just a bad day but still get the porsche owner experience? Just wondering if i missed something or not.

If there was a *masonic* type hand signal to say, "I've got one of those", I guess others would do it even if they don't own a Porsche, i.e, it would be abused.

It they don't know what it means then it's their loss.

As I left work last night (Andover MA, if was anyone here) I saw a beautiful, brown, early 911 targa. I waved to him (in my GTI) but he didn't even glance in my direction. A few weeks, maybe months ago, I had a nice run with a black Boxster on Rt.495, again in the Golf. My only recourse was to show him my tail in hopes he would see my PCA sticker on the rear window. I waved as I went by and this time actually got a look. I don't know if he saw the sticker or not.

I will continue the wave, but a flash usually slows people because they think I'm signaling about a cop down the road. In my 914, even with the ungodly loud exhaust, other Porsches don't even look my way. Their loss.
