bulbs in the foglight switch etc
does anyone know how to change the bulbs in the light switch, fog llight switch etc on a 81' sc?

My 87 Carrera may be slightly different, but I don't think the basics have changed. In my situation, the knob just screws counter clockwise to remove it from the dash, and then the little plastic piece in the center of the knob just pops out if you pull the rubber aside. The exposed bulb can then be pulled out. There, I took a shop rag and put it over the bulb, gently grasped it with a set of needle nose pliers and pulled the bulb out of its socket. Installation is, as they say, the reverse of removal.
If you can't or don't want to remove the knob from the dash, you can do it with it still in place. I just took mine off to ensure my new bulb would fit at the dash knob bulb store.
