What Special Susp. Tools are Needed?

Hi,

I'm trying to get my "ducks in line" for a spring susp re-do, both front and rear on a 77s. I have a good assortment of Snap-on tools including impact and torque wrenches. My question is what other tools will I need to get? (I suppose if I got a bottle opener and the right bottles, that would be the only tool I need as I could get people to bring the others!!!!) Seriously, can anyone supply a suggested list?

Thanks, Rutager

impact wrench
large flathead screwdriver to pry rear spring plate
special thin 'wrench' for adjusting bolts on rear spring plates (Pelican sells)
pipe clamp (for certain bushing replacements)
large 'socket' for ball joint nut (i got a cheapo one made for some manner of 4x4 truck bit at the local autoparts store for MUCH less than the purpose made part)
brake bleeder

that's about all the particular stuff i can think of. consider rebuilding calipers if needed while you're in there.

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.

I found the ubiquitous BFH to be of inestimable value.

And a propane torch for removing recalcitrant rubber parts.

And a cheater bar.

And a drill to persuade the ball joint retainer ring to unscrew. And the ball joint retainer ring replacement tool thingy (but don't use that for the undo part).

And a few punches, for punching things that will need punching.
