What the h....

I took the 911 for a short drive this afternoon. It is cold here (33-35 F), so I warmed her up good prior to driving. I got back, pulled into the garage and smoke is pouring out of the grille. I open the hood and look inside and see oil all over the right valve cover. I am thinking, where did that come from ? I pulled the air cleaner off...and low and behold it is full of oil.

Any thoughts ?

Possible oil overfill? Have you added or changed oil recently?

No, I haven't done anything with the oil in a couple of months.

... with the engine running and warmed up.
My car smoked like Heck on the day I was taking to the smog test. The PO had "topped up" the oil level the WRONG way.
