Yet another thread on adjusting throttle cable
Hi all,
I've read through all of the threads on this, and all of them basically say that you need to go under the car to do the adjustment. My question is - can't you just make the adjustment at the throttle body in the engine compartment? On my BMW, you could just turn the plastic nut where the cable comes out from to make the adjustment. Turning that plastic nut would "lengthen" or "shorten" the whole thing. I see the same thing on my Porsche, so I was just wondering why I couldn't turn that plastic nut to take away the slack. If I'm missing something, please let me know. I don't have the space to jack up the car and get underneath, so if I can do the adjustment without having to do that, it would be a great help. Thanks!

I was just wondering if there was an easier way, that's all.
