heater blower will not turn off
Hi all, I have a 1980sc targa with auto heat and one red lever, my rear heater blower immediately turns on with key in run or start position regardless of auto heat selector position ( 0 - 9 / def ), when I select any position 1 - def the red lever drives full up and will not move until I select 0 again and then will drive full down ??? any help would be greatly appreciated, I have done searches but have not seen this exact scenario. What could be the cause, have any of you ever had this problem ??
thanks

The fact that the red lever comes full up regardless of the heat selector position 1 to def is OK
The fault lies with the fact that the heater blower is working continuosly. There is a problem with the heat selector switch. Check the wiring under the switch and see if it is shorting out creating a permanent on situation. Regards, Richard.
