The perfect vintage 911 seat would.....

Fit like a Kirkey road race seat (17" for me...or even 17.5" if there were such a thing)

Be covered like a GTS Classics seat

Have removable 'wings' on upper parts of the seat (for track/ax days)

Be floor or side mountable

Be built from aluminum like the Kirkey (for adjustment purposes)

Have easily removed cover (see above item)

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.

Call LaJoie....... They are really custom and made of aluminum.

I personally don't like the look of them on a 911 (I don't like the look of Kirkeys on 911's either) but the LaJoie are very comfortable. $$$$$

Here's an Ultrashield rallyt seat that I'm considering...price is right, it has shoulder supports, quite a bit of lateral support yet it doesn't have the exagertaed rib cage bolsters of the Kirkey or other Ultrashield RR seats that makes ingress/egress so much a problem for something other than a pure track car. When I was racing a 240Z ITS car I used the Kirkey RR seat and it was great...except getting in and out of it.

Anybody have one mounted up?
