1973 Porsche fog lamps
Did the 1973 1/2 911 S have rectangular fog lamps mounted on the S style split
front spoiler ( valance) Or did they only have round lamps mounted in horn grills ? Thank you for your reply. |

My 1973.5 911T has the cutouts in the bumper for rectangular fog lights. However, the bumper for the T and E is different than the S. So, I looked up the 1973 S bumper at a couple online suppliers. The pictures did not show the cutouts in the bumpers. Draw your own conclusions.

Most common were the 118's through the grill, although I believe other options were available.
Eric Linden makes excellent repros, better than original IMHO

Second answer is also “NO”. Confused? In ‘73 for sure, maybe in ‘72 with the introduction of the ‘S’ spoiler, there was also an option for 118 fog lights mounted in FRONT OF the Spoiler with special brackets that attached to the bottom of the bumper. Mostly though, if you had the spoiler, fog or driving lights were TTG.
