There are only about 3 clutches that work. The standard clutch assembly, the 67 S assembly with the copper faced pressure plate and the 69 S assembly with the aluminum PP and thin friction disc.
However if it is not slipping, what is the problem with grip? If the parts are worn then there may not be enough applied pressure. The flywheel depth from the PP mounting surface to the working surface has to be just so deep. The friction disc must be just so thick, and the PP working surface must be just so thick. If they are worn too much then the clamping pressure will be reduced, and clutch engagement can suffer.

You can also use the 1968 S clutch. It is much more expensive than a normal 68 clutch but is stronger.
