air box caput!

damn
thought it was running too lean.
the airbox is split, looks like it may have happened many years ago.

I was going to adjust the mixture (bought a gunson). I removed the air filter so i could get the allen wrench into the right position and it felt loose.

I removed the box, by removing everything i could
Since i have access to the breather and thermostat I will replace the gaskets and seals there.

What else will i need?

New intake gaskets?
Is there a gasket on top of the air box that mates the fuel distributor and throttle plate to the air box?
What torque are the bolts for the intake manifold?
Does anyone have a 75 air box?

What else will i need?

My air leaks were coming from the injector seals and mounting sleeves. All my intake gaskets and air box seals looked fine, but the sleeves that the injectors mount into and all the rubber "O" rings were toast. I highly recommend replacing these parts while you can.
