Question Cruise Control Clutch Cut Out Switch

Hi,

Does anybody know where the "cruise control clutch cutout switch" is located?

I am retrofitting the cruise control setup in my 1985 3.2 and have no knowledge of where or how this part is actually placed. The other components are self explanatory but this one could be fitted a few different ways, the correct way is the one I want.

Obviously my car is a RHD version rather than a LHD but the principal will be the same.

R. Dave

My Haynes shows it at the front end of the tunnel - the sw is mtd to an L-bracket and oriented to be actuated by cam from the clutch pedal. Looks like you may have to remove the floorboard and the console for room.

My Bentley says it's beneath the wooden floorboard. (960-13).
There is no pic, just a shot of the pedal cluster with the floorboard installed, and another of the micro switch itself mounted to an L-bracket alone - they didn't show the bracket mounted to anything. The sw has 2 terminals (that go to the regulator).
The PET parts Katalog refers to a clutch switch finger I think it was (forgot already) but I didn't see the switch. The finger looked like an eccentric cylindrical cam- I imagine it actuates the switch. again, apologies for no pic - hope this helps.

Thanks Dan,
I now know that it is located in the pedal cluster area and not in some other location in the vehicle.
I will be able to work someething out now.
