changed fuel pump car wont start now!

hey out there, i need some help, i changed my fuel pump now my car wont start, i also changed the turn signal/light switch, i followed the wiring of the old to the new turn signal switch, all turn on except the from parking lights, could this have to do with the car not starting? the fuel pump is working the car cranks but it doesnt start any help will be appreciated by this porsche rookie, i want to get my 1979 911 porche on the road, i have to see all this new camaros and mustangs and chargers on the road but not my porsche. thank again!

Pull the air cleaner off. Stick your hand inside the intake and lift up on the lever for five seconds to prime the injectors. See if that helps at all for starters.

+1. Be sure to jump the fuel pump relay so the pump is running with the ignition on, and lift the plunger. You should hear a squeal from the injectors if they are spraying fuel.
