6270384 6 = Unit type 6-cylinder engine. 2 = 911S – USA, 2.7, 165 hp. 7 = Model year 1977. 0384 = Consecutive serial number. This can be engine type 911/85 if for manual transmission or 911/90 if Sportomatic. This has a magnesium crankcase, 5-blade fan and thermal reactor exhaust. Best, Grady |

 There are: A Carrera 3.0, 1976-’77. A 930 Turbo 3.0, 1975-’77. A 3.0 RS, 1973-’74. A 3.0 RSR, 1973-’74. A 3.0 911SC, 1978-’83. A 3.0 911SCRS, 1983. A 3.0 934 Turbo, 1976-’77. A 3.0 935 Turbo, 1977-’79. Of course the only 3.0 commonly available is the 911SC. Best, Grady |
