My battery is flat. REAAAL flat. As in need a new one flat.
I am wondering about a sealed gel battery (I see Jack O has one, for instance). My question is will one of them go completely flat, never to be recharged again when I neglect that too (the car is in bits, but I want to start and run the engine for a while). I have now bought a battery charger which will tend the battery, so I could probably get away with a regular battery and look after it. I do think the sealed ones are cool though, and apparently perform well. So is it worth the extra $$$$?? Opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks ------------------ Cameron Baudinet 1975 911S |

Two detroit Iron...both running the optima sealed battery. One P car, running a pair of sonnenschein gel cells made in the exact same size as the 69-73 dual batteries. I'll NEVER go back to straight lead/acid batteries again. 'Nuff said.
